You know that crazy exillirating feeling you get when you cross the finish line of a race? It's what draws you into signing up for the next race as soon as possible! I have a way for you to get that amazing feeling more often & at your convenience!

Have you heard about virtual races? You sign up online, receive a real medal & race swag by mail and you complete your distance on your own time! Pretty ingenious, I know! Sometimes local road races are not close to you, happening often enough or at a time that you're available. Well, virtual racing solves all of that! You can even post your finisher photos on social media and brag to all of your jealous friends! While they all were glued to Netflix last weekend, you completed a race around your neighborhood. That's impressive!

I started a company called The Virtual Race Calendar that offers our own virtual races as well as has a huge calendar to help you find the most popular virtual races. Some shameless bragging, but our medals are 4 inches and really dazzling! They spin, glow in the dark, etc! We also include your race bib number and some fun swag (headbands, LED clip lights & party fanfare for New Year's).

Being a part of a virtual running club gives you some new ways to connect with other runners and fitness enthusiasts! You can "meet" the others who ran the same race by chatting on social media. At The Virtual Race Calendar, we like to repost finisher & medal pics to encourage you and also allow others to connect. There have been several runners who purchased a medal for a friend so they could run together, either virtually or in real life. What an innovative way to promote fitness among friends!

Lots of virtual races support charities. A portion of the registration fee goes to the specified charity. The Virtual Race Calendar has selected Grind For Life for The Struggle Bus, New Year's Dash & Love To Race virtual races. $5 from each of those 3 races'  registrations goes directly to Grind For Life. They are a charity that gives money to cancer patients. I have seen them help firsthand with my mom when she had stage 4 melanoma in her brain. Grind For Life is an amazing charity to support! What a positive way to be involved with a virtual running club that also helps amazing charities!

I started running virtual races in 2011 when they were fairly obscure and difficult to find. I encourage you to check out not only our races but assortment on our calendar! See ya on the road as part of our virtual running club! Don't forget to share your race & medal pics!

I was not asked to write this post or to include the mentioned brands. I am a Sockwell compression socks ambassador & I love using my Lumo Run device. They are both items I use every day in my routine. I received no compensation from mentioning these brands. All opinions expressed are from my own experiences.

Product Review: Bali Body Tanning Oils, Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF 15 & BB Cream SPF 15

Bali Body is an Australian based company who makes tanning oils and skin care products that are free of parabens and harsh chemicals. They are plant-derived, seed based oils full of vitamin E, rose hip oil and jojoba and much more! I love that their products are vegan and cruelty-free!
I have previously reviewed the Bali Body Natural Tanning and Body Oil and the Bali Body Cacaco Tanning Oil here. The Natural Tanning and Body Oil is a lightweight moisturizer and will bring a tan when skin is in the sun. The Cacaco Tanning Oil gives an instant light bronze look even without sun exposure. If using them I the sun please remember skin protection with SPF lotion.
I personally choose not to expose my skin to direct sun. In 2013 I lost my mom to melanoma skin cancer. It is very aggressive and does horrible things to the body. I use these products without direct sun exposure, to moisturize, give a light glow to my skin and help my skin to be healthy with a flawless …
