  1. The only preventative I've used (and liked) was duct tape. Band-aids never seem to stay and I haven't used lubricants yet.

I do have to ask though, have you ever used glue?, moreso for already formed blisters. Since I read about it I haven't had a blister to try it on (but I'm debating giving myself one after my Half Iron just to test it out. haha If you have, let me know by email (becominganironman@hotmail.com)

  2. I used my son's Scooby Doo bandaid today. Does that count? ;)

  3. @Kurt I haven't tried a glue. Usually using the above products with a moisture wicking sock does the trick. :)

@Stephanie Most definitely that counts! :)

  4. I have a terrible issue with blisters and I have for over 10 years of running! The only thing I have not tried is Duct Tape as @Kurt mentioned above. Funny he mentioned it, because I'm reading a book about a guy that runs in Africa and that is what he uses (Duct Tape). I haven't tried glue either, but would like more information about that one : ) Great post guys!

  6. I have an awful blister on the arch of my foot right now. I've tried the band-aids and the blist-o-bans but it just keeps getting worse! It's now about the size of a quarter. Maybe I'll try duck tape....or just let it heal for a week but not running for a week stresses me out. Any advice anyone has would be very much appreciated!
